1:1 Learning Support Assistant

A dynamic and supportive Secondary School in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and passionate graduate to join their close-knit staff team.

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include providing individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

This is an ideal role for individuals seeking to gain experience and pursue a career in teaching, educational psychology, mental health, social care, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working in a collaborative Secondary School environment
  • Providing support in and out of the classroom to all students
  • Assisting class teachers to deliver lessons in core subjects, including Maths and English
  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups with SEN/SEMH needs
Requirements:
  • A graduate with strong academic credentials
  • A compassionate individual with a positive attitude
  • Experience working with children and young people, including those with SEN/SEMH needs
  • A passion for education and making a positive difference
