About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Support Professional to join our team at GSL Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Work closely with teachers to design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Provide Personalized Support: Offer tailored assistance to individual students or small groups, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Build Positive Relationships: Establish supportive connections with students to enhance their well-being and encourage active participation in the learning process.
  • Implement Effective Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment by implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Contribute to a Better Learning Environment: Partner with teachers and school staff to continuously improve and enrich the overall educational experience.

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Confidently engage with students, teachers, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
