We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant at a high-performing secondary school in Hounslow. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized support to pupils with SEND/SEMH needs in small groups and one-to-one settings
- Assisting teachers and teaching assistants in the classroom to facilitate inclusive learning environments
- Developing and implementing strategies to support pupils with diverse learning needs
- Collaborating with the school's SEND team to ensure effective support and provision for pupils
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
