Project Technical Manager

Skilled Careers is seeking a proficient Technical Coordinator to support a prominent residential developer/contractor in South East London. The successful candidate will play a vital role in a large-scale residential project, collaborating closely with senior management to oversee technical operations and ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the project and assist in daily operations from a technical perspective.
- Review and manage Architectural and Engineering documentation.
- Guarantee that all project data is thoroughly verified and coordinated.
- Distribute drawings and information for construction in accordance with established protocols.
- Facilitate inquiries and submissions to statutory service providers and local authorities.
- Engage with Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
- Support the department in keeping updated processes regarding Building Regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and verify brochure plans while maintaining a divergence tracker.
- Coordinate internally with Planning, Commercial, Construction, and Sales teams.
- Develop and oversee technical specifications.
- Prepare and issue specific site documentation and Sales/Legal notes for launch preparations.
- Manage Customer Change procedures and liaise with relevant consultants to ensure completion aligns with the construction schedule.
- Participate in site/project meetings as necessary.
- Update and distribute drawing trackers to ensure timely information delivery in line with build schedules.
Technical Competencies:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical capacity within a residential development environment, focusing on both low and high-rise mixed-use projects or within an Architectural/Engineering firm.
A degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field is required.
Proficiency in Building Regulations and current legislation relevant to residential and commercial development is essential.
Candidates must be computer literate with strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing design teams and internal staff are crucial.
Effective communication skills and the ability to cultivate strong relationships are necessary.
Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks are required.
A keen eye for detail and an analytical approach to problem-solving are essential.
Focus on product quality, design buildability, and cost-effective solutions is expected.
Strong motivation and a proactive 'can do' attitude aimed at achieving both personal and team objectives are vital.
