TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is supporting a prestigious firm of chartered accountants in their search for a seasoned Audit Senior Manager.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Audit senior Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, with partnership prospects on offer. The position will primarily focus on accounts and audit and accounts work, with the ability to adjust the levels based on the applicant's experience and aspirations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality accountancy and audit services to a diverse client base.
  • Supporting a varied portfolio of business clients, including owner-managed businesses.
  • Leading audits from planning through to completion, collaborating with the team and clients as necessary.
  • Hosting and conducting pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
  • Providing expert accountancy advice and support to clients.
  • Presenting final draft accounts to clients.
  • Leading and managing a small team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Mentoring the team, reviewing their work, and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
  • Developing and expanding the team's skillset through development plans and training and support.
  • Contributing to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.

Requirements:

  • Qualified ACA or ACCA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience in practice.
  • Experience in accounts preparation, auditing SME-sized limited companies, taxation (corporate, business & personal).
  • Experience supervising staff.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent planning, organisation & deadline time keeping skills.
  • Good computer skills.
