About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Audit Senior Manager to join a dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis, with partnership prospects available. The primary focus will be on accounts and audit work, with the ability to adjust the level of responsibility based on the candidate's experience and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality accountancy and audit services to a diverse client base, including corporate clients across various industries and turnover up to £250m.
- Support a portfolio of owner-managed business clients, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.
- Lead audits from planning to completion, collaborating with the team and clients as necessary.
- Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Provide accountancy advice and support to clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Conduct client meetings for the presentation of final draft accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead and manage a small team of qualified and part-qualified accountants, mentoring and developing their skills through development plans and training.
- Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients, driving business development and expansion.
- Qualified ACA or ACCA or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience in practice, with a strong background in accounts preparation, auditing SME-sized limited companies, and taxation.
- Experience supervising staff, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision, possessing excellent planning, organization, and deadline time-keeping skills.
- Good computer skills and a strong understanding of accounting software and systems.
- Competitive salary range of £65,000 - £80,000, negotiable based on experience and background.
