Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000 + 10% Bonus + Overtime
Shifts: 6am-2pm (3 weeks), 2pm-10pm (1 week)
Company: Argon Engineering Ltd (on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing company)
We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our client's maintenance team in Wigan. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on equipment to ensure minimal downtime
- Support continuous improvement across the plant
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve goals
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance
- Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting to resolve maintenance issues
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)
