Maintenance Engineer Vacancy

The Maintenance Engineer role is available with a leading manufacturing firm based in the Stretford area of Manchester.

This position offers excellent opportunities for both training and career development, with a large CAPEX and investment budget.

Key Benefits:

Main Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support, and repairs to ensure production targets are maintained. This includes maintaining factory manufacturing machinery, monitoring and supplying engineering support for machine set-up and changeovers, and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.

Requirements:

  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship and qualification or equivalent (e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above) in Mechanical or Electrical
  • High degree of health and safety awareness
  • Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems

This role may suit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Fitter, Maintenance Electrician, Multi-skilled Engineer, or similar.
