About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to join our busy Regulatory Services team at Bolton Council.

The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of regulatory duties, including food safety, health and safety, and pollution. They will promote excellent standards within businesses and take appropriate enforcement action to achieve compliance.

About You

You must be registered with the EHRB or equivalent and have food law enforcement experience and competency. You must be able to cope with a demanding workload and have a flexible approach. You will be equally happy working as part of a team or independently, with excellent decision-making skills.

The role has been designated an essential car user post, so you must possess a valid driving licence and use of your own vehicle.
