Job Title: Environmental Health Officer

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to join our busy Regulatory Services team at Bolton Council. The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of regulatory duties as the generic EHO, working across all areas of Regulatory Services, including Trading Standards and Licensing, as well as Environmental Health functions such as food safety, health and safety, and pollution.

About the Role
  • Undertake a broad range of regulatory duties as the generic EHO, working across all areas of Regulatory Services.
  • Work with the team to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and reactive work as required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses and members of the public.
Requirements
  • Registered with EHRB or equivalent.
  • Food law enforcement experience and competency.
  • Ability to cope with a demanding workload and work flexibly as required.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
