Workshop Operations ManagerWe are currently seeking an experienced and driven Workshop Operations Manager to join our client's team in Aberdeen. Job PurposeReporting directly to the Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for driving excellence in customer car care and motivating the workshop staff to achieve peak productivity and quality standards. Your key focus will be on fostering a positive and results-oriented work environment while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workshop performance, including setting targets, KPIs, and operational procedures.
- Effectively allocate tasks to technicians, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilization of resources.
- Collaborate closely with the Service department to provide technical expertise and support to colleagues and customers.
- Implement robust quality control measures to ensure consistently high standards of workmanship.
- Maintain accurate records, manage stock levels, and adhere to company policies and protocols regarding safety and compliance.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to the technical team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Proven experience in managing a workshop environment within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair procedures and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications relevant to workshop management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
