Security Officer

We are seeking a diligent Screening Officer to join our team in a SOC environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the security industry and possess strong IT literacy, excellent timekeeping skills, and a keen attention to detail. You must be a team player, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
This position involves working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, with an hourly rate of £16.43. If you are committed to maintaining high security standards and thrive in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the security hatch alarm system, reporting and addressing any faults.
- Oversee the keys and locks mailbox, handling all requests and returns.
- Develop, monitor, and update Security Technician site visit routes.
- Manage the Security mailbox, allocating tasks to Security Technicians.
- Centrally collate information on Security Technician annual leave, sickness, and monthly reports.
- Produce reports on security events, trends, and activities.
- Conduct physical site security checks in the absence of Security Technicians.
- SIA Licence required
- At least 3 years of experience in the security industry
- Must hold SC clearance or be willing to undergo the vetting process
- Five years of checkable employment or education history
- Right to work in the UK
