About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Michael Page Property & Construction. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Investigate incidents and produce detailed reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor and review health and safety performance to ensure continuous improvement
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies as necessary to ensure compliance and maintain a positive reputation
Requirements
  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations, including CDM Regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform health and safety decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions
