Key Responsibilities- Fire Safety Compliance: Ensure that all fire safety measures are in place and compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Fire Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough fire risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Contract Management: Manage fire safety contracts and ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard.
- Technical Advice: Provide expert technical advice and guidance to staff and contractors on fire safety matters.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fire safety activities and inspections.
- Qualifications: Minimum NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Practical experience of working in a housing association or similar environment.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of fire safety legislation and regulations, technical knowledge of fire safety systems, and experience of contract implementation and project management.
