Fire Safety Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Advisor to join our team at The Portfolio Group. As a Fire Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on fire safety and risk management to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the quality assurance and validation of fire risk assessments and fire safety management systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Offer support and guidance to clients on fire safety management systems and risk assessments.
  • Manage complaints and service issues, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Maintain familiarity with BAFE standards and manage BAFE systems for clients.
  • Specialize in fire safety and provide comprehensive expertise to clients.
  • Interface with external enforcement agencies on behalf of clients, as approved and requested.
  • Update fire safety management systems and risk assessments as per client requests.
  • Ensure all advice provided meets BAFE requirements and standards.
  • Contribute to the development of fire systems and eLearning modules as needed.
  • Assist in creating Fire Guidance Notes, Standard Phrases, and Checklists for various legal jurisdictions.
Requirements:
  • Relevant practitioner experience in fire safety.
  • Familiarity with BAFE standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and organizational objectives.
