Job Overview

Parkside Recruitment is seeking a talented Junior Supply Chain Planner to join our client's supply chain team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in logistics and supply chain management, with the possibility of converting to a permanent position at the end of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales orders for distributors, liaising with the warehouse, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely resolution of queries and efficient shipping.
  • Contribute to operations planning, including demand planning, sales, stock, backorders, and shipment schedules.
  • Support the Account Management team with new business implementations, product lines, and projects to enhance company efficiency, potentially involving extensive ERP development.
  • Assist with internal and external auditing, customs/product classification, item master updates, logistics cost reporting, and other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
