Job Title: Facilities Project Officer

Join our team as a Facilities Project Officer and play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Garden Communities programme in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support the Didcot Garden Town team in delivering a wide range of projects outlined in the Didcot Garden Town Delivery Plan. This will involve working closely with the team to lead the delivery of the Garden Communities programme, engaging with the community and various public and private stakeholders, and managing relationships with contractors and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of the Garden Communities programme, including project management and coordination
  • Engage with the community and various public and private stakeholders to gather feedback and input
  • Manage relationships with contractors and government agencies to ensure successful project delivery
  • Plan and coordinate public events, meetings, and workshops to promote the Garden Communities programme
  • Support the team in gathering and analysing data to inform project decisions and evaluate project outcomes
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience in project management or project work
  • Experience in planning and coordinating public events, meetings, and workshops
  • Proven experience in supporting various projects, preferably within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in engaging and managing relationships with various stakeholders, including community groups, government agencies, and contractors
  • Full and current driving licence
