Business Development Manager

About the Role:
Candidate Source Limited is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and converting opportunities to sell capital equipment produced by our company, building long-term relationships within the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and convert opportunities to sell capital equipment produced by our company
- Build long-term relationships within the sector
- Work closely with the UK General Manager and European headquarters to support the UK market
Requirements:
- Solid experience of post-shredder waste streams and an appreciation of sorting/separation technologies
- Experience of the industrial process and operations at a metal recycling plant (shredder and shredder residue) or downstream metal beneficiation processes
- Knowledge or experience in metal/recycling processes using magnetic, eddy current, x-ray, optical, and other cutting-edge sensor sorting/separation technologies
- A passion for business development
- Enjoyment selling high-value technical solutions
- Enjoyment creating and building relationships with customers
Desirable:
- Relevant technical qualifications in a manufacturing or engineering discipline
- Full clean UK driving license
- Passport
