Job Summary:
CSA Group is looking for a New Account Manager specializing in Energy - Industrial within a designated North American territory. This position will act as the primary point of contact for customers in developing new accounts within the Energy sectors, particularly in Energy Storage, EVSE, and PV. The New Account Manager collaborates closely with Marketing to identify prospects and nurture leads, crafting effective strategies to secure business from companies not currently engaged with CSA Group. The role involves utilizing company research tools to build a pipeline, defining value from the prospect's perspective, prioritizing leads, and creating targeted prospecting plans. It is essential to develop customer profiles and call strategies that address why prospects are not currently utilizing CSA, thereby effectively addressing potential concerns and articulating CSA's value proposition to win their business.
Key Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of sales experience or equivalent industry background. Familiarity with sales CRM tracking software is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to consistently surpass sales targets. Proven experience interacting with large organizations at senior levels.Skills:
Ability to create clear, effective, and professional written communications and presentations. Capable of developing, preparing, and executing complex business strategies while managing multiple projects and responsibilities. Highly organized and self-sufficient. Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality in previous roles. Strong initiative and capability to establish new customer connections. Ability to maintain positive relationships within the organization to exchange, explain, and interpret information or ideas and follow up on client requests. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Creative and adept at project management to plan for projects, events, and conferences. High level of initiative and motivation to meet or exceed targeted goals with minimal supervision. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM database applications. Ability to promptly prepare cost proposals to meet customer needs. Responsive and pleasant when interacting with external and internal customers, peers, and colleagues.
