Position Overview

We are currently seeking applications for the role of Director of Estates and Facilities. This pivotal position entails overseeing the strategic direction, operational management, and regulatory compliance of the University’s diverse and dynamic estate.

The Director will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborate closely with the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and the broader Executive Board. This role is crucial in ensuring that our estate aligns with our institutional vision and adequately serves the needs of our three Faculties and all Professional Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the built estate, including its development, upkeep, and security.
  • Enhance space utilization across the campus.
  • Contribute significantly to achieving the University’s net zero carbon goals and broader sustainability initiatives.
