Facilities Management Professional

Dame Allan's Schools is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Professional to lead the Schools' estates team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in planning and project management, with a focus on facilities management and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the management of the Schools' estates, buildings, and operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage expansion and other building projects, including liaison with contractors and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a carbon reduction plan to achieve net zero.
- Manage waste and develop a waste management strategy to promote recycling and environmental awareness.
- Take responsibility for the management of the annual budget within the Estates Department.
- Ensure all minibus and driver documentation is up to date in line with legislation, ISI regulations, and school policies.
- Line manage all Estates and Facilities staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Relevant professional qualifications in facilities management or project management.
- Prior experience of working within an Estates/Facilities management environment.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, with a good foundation in Facilities/Project Management.
- Planning and Project Management Skills with budget management experience and commercial awareness.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements, including HSE regulations, Manual Handling, COSHH, NEBOSH/IOSH, and Legionella.
