Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director to lead our policy development and delivery of knowledge exchange functions. The successful candidate will contribute to our senior leadership, strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and management of Research England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership of policy development and delivery of knowledge exchange functions.
  • Contribute to senior leadership, strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and management of Research England.
  • Develop and oversee Research England's data and evidence programme for knowledge exchange.
  • Demonstrate leadership in stakeholder engagement and negotiation of the development of Research England policies/programmes on Knowledge Exchange/commercialisation.
  • Lead high-level stakeholder engagement with university senior management and representative groups.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of Higher Education Innovation Funding.
  • Previous experience of effective management of budgets.
  • Understanding of university data design and delivery processes.
