We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team at Utility Collections Ltd. As a Debt Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering excellent debt recovery services to our energy supplier clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively communicate with indebted commercial energy consumers to negotiate settlement or an appropriate alternative commercial resolution.
  • Analyze customer queries to determine payment prevention and act as an intermediary between the account holder and the energy supplier to resolve the query.
  • Negotiate and process payments or discuss and govern payment plans to fruition.
  • Identify potentially vulnerable customers and adapt your approach accordingly.
  • Identify non-compliant customers and escalate their cases to the next operational step.
  • Achieve both management and client-led KPIs.
  • Account manage your own portfolio throughout.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
Requirements:
  • Organized and able to follow processes to deliver a high and consistent customer service.
  • Good work ethic with the ability to work within defined timescales while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver accurate information.
  • Well-presented and approachable.
  • Good communication and telephony skills.
