Position Overview

The role of a Floor Manager encompasses a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of the retail environment. Key duties include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service through expert styling advice, comprehensive product knowledge, and an engaging store atmosphere.
  • Evaluating sales data in collaboration with the store manager to enhance the sales performance of your designated area.
  • Leading and motivating a team of sales associates to uphold high service standards.
  • Facilitating recruitment processes and ensuring effective onboarding and training for new team members.
  • Assisting the store manager in identifying potential talent and developing tailored growth plans for their advancement.
  • Managing daily store operations efficiently.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for COS, ensuring a superior customer experience.
  • Filling in for the Store Manager during their absence.
Qualifications

To be considered for the Floor Manager position, candidates should possess prior management or leadership experience, along with the following attributes:

  • A minimum of one year of management experience in a retail setting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, train, and develop a team effectively.
  • A customer-centric approach.
  • Self-driven and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • A genuine interest in people.
  • Willingness to learn about and promote our products.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Solid commercial acumen and a passion for fashion and retail.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and evenings as needed.

This position is offered on a local contract basis, and candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK.
