Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Logistics People. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and Packing: Select and gather items from stockroom and pack them into boxes or containers for shipping.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload pallets and stock across the warehouse, ensuring accurate and efficient movement of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, monitor inventory movements, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and well-maintained, including sweeping and disposing of debris.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 20kg and stand for long periods.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
