Overall Job Purpose

We are seeking a Digital Accounting Manager for the London and Southern region. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering client work, proactively identifying client opportunities, and promoting the benefits of cloud solutions to the wider team. They will receive support from the national digital accounting lead.

This role is primarily regional, with some travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partners and portfolio managers to identify client opportunities/internal efficiencies for cloud implementation and optimization.
  • Promote the completion of digital health checks across the ABA South portfolio. Track their completion and follow up on identified opportunities.
  • Execute client work, including cloud implementation, finance function optimization, and Xero training engagements.
  • Supervise junior staff during projects by providing adequate briefing, supervision, training, and reviewing completed work for adequacy and competence.
  • Raise awareness of digital solutions, particularly cloud accounting, Xero, and related apps, across managers and partners. This includes challenging current ways of working.
  • Stay updated on developments in the digital accounting space, maintain Xero certification, and undertake relevant training.
