Role Overview

As a Logistics Team Leader, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

Direct management and mentorship of Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, including one-on-one discussions to evaluate performance against expectations and establishing SMART goals when performance falls short in any critical functional areas. Collaborating with the Section Manager to oversee adherence to operational plans and identifying key improvement areas for your shift. Enhancing performance on essential metrics to ensure a streamlined warehouse operation capable of meeting customer demands for both online and in-store orders promptly and completely. Upholding the highest safety standards on-site, partnering with the Safety team to ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures (e.g., Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Safety Gembas, Risk Assessments, Audits). Analyzing the weekly labor plan to confirm adequate staffing levels, sharing insights with the Section Manager, and addressing any issues or feedback. Providing detailed reports when daily or weekly targets are not achieved and formulating strategies to bridge the gaps. Collaborating with the Warehouse Leadership team and other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic initiatives are on track and adequately supported. Facilitating the successful implementation of cultural transformation and employee retention strategies.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management. Strong potential for leadership and change management. Proficient in systems and technology. Customer-centric approach to operational management. Resilient, adaptable, and approachable demeanor. Effective problem-solving skills in a dynamic business environment.
