Deputy Houseparent Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Houseparent in our Sixth Form Boarding House.

About the Role

As a Deputy Houseparent, you will play a key role in providing a strong support network for our pupils, working closely with the Houseparent and other members of the pastoral care team.

You will be responsible for supervising, encouraging, and motivating staff, as well as mentoring and supporting pupils in the house.

Excellent administrative skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and support staff in the house
  2. Mentor and support pupils in the house
  3. Assist in the smooth running of the house
  4. Coordinate and prioritize work schedules
  5. Delegate effectively to the team
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a strong academic background and excellent administrative skills.

Experience in a similar role or in a related field would be advantageous.
