Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in our Intensive Care Units.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care for critically ill adults in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Act as an effective clinical role model and provide guidance and support to junior staff.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, including qualified and unqualified staff.
- Maintain a safe clinical environment conducive to patient care.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- 1st/2nd level registration as a nurse.
- Intensive Care Course.
- At least 18 months post-registration experience.
- 12 months recent ITU experience.
- 6 months experience at Band 6.
- Experience in mentoring junior staff/students.
We also welcome candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
- Mentorship Course.
- Insight into management issues, conflict resolution, and change management.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and aptitudes:
- Ability to manage a group of ITU patients independently.
- Teaching and mentoring skills.
- Evidence of recent self-development.

- Able to effectively mentor junior staff.
