Role Overview

The COO Team for Operational Resiliency, CASS, and Control is responsible for enabling the unit's strategy on a day-to-day basis. The team's primary responsibility is to support the implementation and coordination of various programs and projects, ensuring continuity in execution and output.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the function, leading governance and program management around projects led by CASS, Operational Resiliency, and Control, supporting departmental Objectives & Key Results, and identifying key risks and dependencies.
  2. Act as the key point of contact for reviewing business change, including new products, markets, and locations, and perform initial impact assessments to determine relevant SME teams to engage across CASS, Operational Resiliency, and Control.
  3. Support complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
  4. Identify opportunities for improvement and prioritize change impacting the department.
  5. Support the review of issues/trend analysis with escalation to the COO and Head of Risk & Resiliency for Asset Servicing.
  6. Display a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the department to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
  7. Develop and/or maintain a suite of data-driven, forward-looking metrics based on various information sources to help classify, manage, and report on department projects.
  8. Develop working relationships with other departments globally, particularly Enterprise Resiliency, the Asset Servicing COO Office, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT.
  9. Participate in committee meetings, industry coordination, and regulatory relationship meetings as determined by the COO of Operational Resiliency, CASS, and Control.
Qualifications

A project management professional with extensive business experience in Control, Operational Resilience, and CASS, with a focus on program management for projects and initiatives within the group. Knowledge of the firm and industry is required.

Leadership and organizational skills are necessary to direct activities across multiple units. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Ability to manage third parties, such as consultants, and track financial expenses and performance against budget. Results-oriented with strong collaboration, influencing, and data analysis skills.
