About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to lead our Supported Living Service as a Registered Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our service users, ensuring their physical, mental health, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with setup and registration procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct assessments and support safeguarding efforts for service users, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Support service users and their families in meeting their physical, mental health, and social needs, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Update care plans, conduct risk assessments, and maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Lead and manage care staff, ensuring they are qualified and up-to-date with necessary training, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a delegate for the Company Director, establishing the company and managing day-to-day operations, ensuring effective governance and leadership.
  • Implement and manage quality assurance in line with CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs), promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare weekly KPIs and ensure the company meets financial and operational targets, promoting a culture of accountability and transparency.
  • Drive business growth and adhere to Local Authority contracts, promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of care management experience, with a proven track record of achieving high outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
  • Experience in tendering, spot purchases, and dynamic purchasing with local authorities, ensuring effective procurement and contract management.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and be working towards Level 5, ensuring a strong foundation in care principles and practices.
  • A full, clean UK Driving License and own vehicle, ensuring flexibility and mobility in the role.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, management, and organisational skills, ensuring effective governance and leadership.
