Production Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Gap Personnel. This is a permanent role focused on leading a production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Contract Details
Type: Permanent
Shifts: 6am-2pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6am-12pm. The following week will be 2pm-11pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 12pm-6pm.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of the senior production team, you will:
- Drive lean manufacturing practices and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate team objectives effectively and establish daily targets aligned with company KPIs.
- Oversee daily operations on all production lines, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Ensure production goals are achieved by setting clear job expectations and evaluating performance outcomes.
- Mentor team members to enhance their skills and boost overall performance.
- Coordinate team efforts to maximize production output.
- Verify that all assembled products meet quality standards through rigorous quality control checks.
- Monitor workflow and facilitate necessary adjustments within the teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to provide regular reports and updates on production status.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area.
- Document all production data and update the computer systems as needed.
- Provide coverage for team leaders during absences.
- Ensure the security of the facility at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in CNC or machine operation.
- Proficiency in computer systems.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
- A solid understanding of both computer-based and paper-based production systems.
- Effective coaching and mentoring skills.
