This newly created position will lead the Supply Chain department and develop a team as the role evolves. The individual in this role will oversee all logistics, order management, inventory control, customer service, and demand forecasting activities. Proficiency in handling large datasets in Excel and adaptability to a dynamic business environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:

  • Department Transformation: Streamline the supply chain operations, enhancing productivity, accountability, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Bill of Materials Oversight: Manage the BOM processes, ensuring precise procurement of components from various suppliers across Europe. Collaborate with vendors to guarantee timely and cost-efficient material acquisition.
  • Procurement and Inventory Oversight: Direct the procurement of finished goods and ensure optimal quantities are delivered to warehouses across multiple regions. Balance inventory levels to meet supply and demand effectively.
  • Demand Forecasting: Establish and maintain accurate forecasting processes to anticipate demand and plan inventory requirements. Adapt strategies based on market dynamics and sales data.
  • Order Fulfillment Management: Oversee the order processing from retail locations, ensuring prompt and precise fulfillment. Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or delays.
  • Customer Service Management: Address inquiries from customer service regarding supply chain and order fulfillment. Provide timely and effective solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Reporting and Control: Develop and manage reporting systems to monitor supply chain performance, productivity, and waste reduction. Implement control processes to foster continuous improvement.
  • Productivity Enhancement and Waste Minimization: Identify opportunities for improvement within the supply chain and execute strategies to boost productivity and minimize waste. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making.
