Anson McCade, a leader in integrated defence solutions, is on the lookout for a skilled Systems Modelling Engineer to advocate for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies across various defence initiatives. This role involves leveraging advanced modelling technologies to enhance both current and future weapon systems.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Promoting a comprehensive lifecycle perspective in system design.
  • Delivering expert training and consultancy to pivotal projects.
  • Facilitating ongoing process enhancements and driving cultural shifts within the organization.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficient in contemporary model-based engineering techniques and tools.
  • Experience in systems architecture modelling with platforms such as Rhapsody IBM and Matlab Simulink.
  • Strong independent work ethic complemented by excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge in specialized fields including mechanical, electrical, software, ILS, HF, control, and analysis.
  • Possession of a relevant engineering degree along with practical experience.
  • Willingness to broaden expertise in Digital Engineering concepts such as Model-Based Engineering, Digital Threads, Digital Twins, and the Authoritative Source of Truth.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Annual Bonus: Approximately £2,500 per year - Pro-Rata
  • Annual Salary Review: Performance-based increases, with potential up to 6.5% uplift.
  • Overtime Pay: Standard rate for weekdays and 1.25x for weekends, available after the contracted 38-hour work week.
  • Flexible Leave: Up to 15 additional days of leave per year based on extra hours worked.
  • Pension Scheme: 14% total contribution (6% employee, 8% employer).
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus public holidays.
