About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MI Analyst to join our team at Adaptable Recruitment. As a key member of our business intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement reports within SSRS from SQL data sources to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of Power BI dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Identify gaps in current MI reports and implement accurate datasets to fill them, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine SQL jobs and maximize performance and availability of data for reporting.
  • Ensure data from various systems is available for reporting within the SQL data warehouse, providing a single source of truth.
  • Provide data and define processes within Finance for reconciling payments and receipts, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyze user behavior, conversion funnels, and other relevant data to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making.
  • Contribute to driving impact to website conversion by informing decision-making based on data analysis and targeting optimizations and improvements to the customer journey.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst, preferably in an online travel setting.
  • Proficient in SQL, SSRS, and Power BI, with a strong understanding of data visualization and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and ability to combine data from multiple sources to extract actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, with the ability to summarize and present complex data in an easy-to-understand format.
