Engineering Team Leader - Food Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our team in the food manufacturing industry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and planned/reactive maintenance of food manufacturing equipment.

The Role:
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance on food manufacturing equipment
  • Maintain all machinery and equipment, including filling machines, spiral freezers, and ovens
  • Lead all engineering activity required for continuous improvement and technical audits
  • Support the achievement of productivity, efficiency, and expenditure targets
  • Deliver projects in line with health and safety legislation requirements
The Person:
  • Recognized Mechanical and Electrical Engineering qualifications
  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment with experience leading/managing a small team
  • Familiar with legislative requirements, including risk management and risk assessments
  • Excellent project management and health and safety knowledge, NEBOSH or IOSH qualification is ideal
