Salary: Competitive annual salary
Location: Various locations in Hampshire
Work Schedule: Full-time
Contract Type: Permanent
The Shared Services Partnership is seeking motivated and skilled practitioners to join our team in Children's Services. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for working with children and families and are committed to making a meaningful impact in their lives.
As an Intensive Support Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team within one of our Specialist Intensive Worker Hubs. You will collaborate closely with social workers and other professionals to deliver essential support to families facing complex challenges.
Our approach focuses on empowering families to foster resilience and create lasting positive change. You will engage directly with parents, children, and young people, providing tailored interventions to address their unique needs. Your role may involve supporting parents who have encountered significant challenges, affecting their ability to nurture and protect their children, or assisting in the reintegration of children into their family environments.
This position offers variety, as you will work with a limited number of families at any given time, allowing for intensive and creative collaboration aimed at achieving transformative outcomes.
Flexibility in your working hours is essential, as you may need to accommodate the schedules of working parents, which could include evenings or weekends. With guidance from your supervisor, you will have the opportunity to adjust your working hours to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal life while meeting the needs of the families you serve.
Your work will primarily take place in the community or within family homes, and you must be prepared to travel as required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. When not visiting families, you will have the option to work from a designated hub or remotely.
For more details regarding the Intensive Support Worker role, please refer to the job description and person specification.
Vetting Process:This position requires a Criminal Records Check. In accordance with safer recruitment practices, references will be obtained prior to the interview process.
Commitment to Safeguarding:The Shared Services Partnership is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We expect all employees and volunteers to share this commitment and ensure that our recruitment practices reflect this ethos.
We are an equal opportunity employer, committed to inclusivity and accessibility in our recruitment process.
