About the Role:

The Shared Services Partnership is seeking dedicated and skilled practitioners to join our team in providing essential support to children and families. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about fostering positive change and improving the lives of those we serve.

As an Intensive Support Practitioner, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including social workers, within our specialized support hubs. Your role will involve working directly with families facing complex challenges, utilizing a strength-based approach to promote resilience and sustainable change.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Engaging with parents and children to deliver tailored interventions.
2. Supporting families with multifaceted needs, including those impacted by trauma.
3. Facilitating the safe return of children to their families or stabilizing placements in care settings.

No two days will be alike, as you will work closely with a limited number of families, allowing for intensive and creative collaboration to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Flexibility in your working hours is essential, as you may need to accommodate the schedules of working parents. This may involve evening or weekend meetings to best support the families in your care. With guidance from your manager, you will have the opportunity to adjust your work pattern to balance your professional and personal commitments.

Your work will primarily take place in the community or within family homes, and you must be prepared to meet travel requirements associated with the role. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. When not visiting families, you will have the option to work from a designated hub or remotely.
