Key Responsibilities- Binders Management: Manage a portfolio of binders with A-rated providers, ensuring effective risk management and profitable underwriting.
- Liability Book Oversight: Collaborate with the team to develop, document, and maintain clear underwriting procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Underwriting Strategies: Analyze and evaluate potential liability exposure, determining terms and conditions of liability insurance policies, and negotiating with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Reporting and Analysis: Produce regular reports for the Operations Manager, highlighting retention, new business, and growth opportunities.
- Industry Trends and Risk Assessment: Monitor industry trends, legal developments, and emerging risks to inform underwriting decisions and ensure the company remains competitive.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal teams, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Experience: Strong experience in binder management, underwriting, and risk management, with a proven track record in Liability risks.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and assess the impact of changing risks over the medium term.
- Qualifications: Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and industry best practices, with a Cert CII qualification an advantage.
- Personal Qualities: Proactive, efficient, and focused on meeting tight deadlines, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
In return for your expertise, our client offers a competitive salary range of £60k to £70k, depending on experience, an annual bonus, 25 days' holiday, enhanced pension, life assurance, private medical, support for professional qualifications, home working with all tools provided, and a range of flexible benefits.
