Professional Liability Underwriter

We are thrilled to be partnering with Aston Charles Ltd, a world-leading insurance company, to find a talented Underwriter to join its successful Professional Liability Team.
This company is renowned for providing innovative insurance solutions and uses its expertise to insure risks that others can't. The position has arisen due to the promotion of a Senior Underwriter into a technical line manager role, demonstrating the impressive career progression available within the company.
As a member of the renewals team in the specialist Financial Lines Division, you will be dealing with a wide variety of Professional and Management cases, as well as wider financial lines risks, including Cyber and Technology risks. This is an area of considerable growth for the company, and you will have the opportunity to join an established but growing team.
Key responsibilities will include underwriting large and complex renewal cases, collaborating with the Claims team, and developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical Department and the wider business. You will provide excellent service to brokers, prioritizing renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure deadlines are met.
