This is a key role within Aviva, responsible for underwriting profitable business while operating within agreed guidelines and authority levels.

You will develop, build, and strengthen relationships with aligned customers/brokers, providing technical support and assistance and dealing with all queries.

You will use a network of relevant stakeholders to deliver the widest proposition appropriate to the customer and work independently, within underwriting authority, conferring where appropriate more technical and complex risks.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of insurance product features & processes
  • Knowledge of underwriting – Property & Liability
  • Good planning, prioritisation, and organisation skills
  • Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation
  • Good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation
