Your Role: Delegated Authority Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delegated Authority Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and developing complex insurance solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Oversee the renewal process for Structured Portfolio Solution (SPS) agreements within Aon's Underwriting Management (AUM), ensuring seamless communication with key stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers and other essential parties regarding specific SPS agreements, fostering strong relationships and facilitating effective collaboration.
  • Capacity Provider Engagement: Collaborate closely with Delegated Authority teams at our capacity providers to maintain open communication about plans, changes, and requirements. This includes proactively addressing their needs and ensuring alignment throughout the process.
  • Agreement Drafting & Analysis: Accurately draft Delegated Authority Agreements and endorsements as required. Contribute to the development and refinement of Aon's Delegated Authority Agreement templates, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Internal Collaboration: Liaise with all relevant internal stakeholders, including underwriters, fiduciary functions, claims teams, brokers, and reporting personnel, to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and facilitate smooth operations for new and existing SPS opportunities.
  • Performance Reporting & Analysis: Support Underwriting teams in presenting the performance of SPSs to carriers by conducting quarterly review calls across all agreements. Analyze portfolio data with Underwriting managers to identify trends, insights, and growth opportunities.
  • Product Development & Risk Management: Assist SPS product owners in meeting contractual requirements and escalating potential risks or issues promptly. Ensure robust governance frameworks are in place across all SPSs and that agreed-upon processes are consistently followed.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation: Contribute to Aon Underwriting Managers Leadership's objectives by actively participating in process improvement initiatives, IT system implementations, and other projects aimed at enhancing client delivery, reducing operational costs, and leveraging automation, systems integration, and innovative technologies.
