Senior SACT Nurse Opportunity

At GenesisCare, we're committed to delivering exceptional cancer care to our patients. We're seeking an experienced and skilled Senior SACT Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the-art cancer care centre in Oxford.

The Role:

As a Senior SACT Nurse, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality chemotherapy nursing services to patients within the unit. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert care and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients and their families
  • Ensure continuity of high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing chemotherapy
  • Work autonomously, providing clinical leadership and ensuring accurate plans of care
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in intravenous access, chemotherapy delivery, and management of anaphylaxis and extravasation
Requirements:
  • Experience in intravenous drug administration and chemotherapy administration
  • Sufficient post-registration nursing experience in oncology or a related specialty
  • Ability to work accurately and reliably under pressure
  • Ability to make decisions, organise, and prioritise
  • UKONS SACT Passport or willingness to complete within three months of appointment
