The Role:

As a Senior SACT Nurse, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality chemotherapy nursing services to our patients. You'll work closely with our medical team to provide expert care and support to patients undergoing treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients and their families
  • Ensure continuity of high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing chemotherapy
  • Work autonomously, providing clinical leadership and ensuring accurate plans of care
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in intravenous access, chemotherapy delivery, and management of central venous catheters
Requirements:
  • Experience in intravenous drug administration and chemotherapy administration
  • Sufficient post-registration nursing experience in oncology or a related specialty
  • Ability to work accurately and reliably under pressure
  • Ability to make decisions, organise, and prioritise
