About the Role

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our technical team in delivering complex engineering projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our engineering solutions meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical team and act as a technical focal point for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the engineering team has the necessary skills, tools, and processes to deliver projects effectively.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commercial leads to deliver technical solutions on budget and schedule.
  • Analyze customer requirements and incorporate them into the solution, including all engineering activities and technical requirements.
  • Ensure effective technical management, including systems, processes, information, and training.
  • Advise on engineering requirements and ensure that all technical deliverables are developed to the required maturity.
Requirements
  • Equivalent of Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of relevant experience in complex engineering projects.
  • Extensive experience delivering multi-disciplined projects, including electrical, mechanical, software, and specialist engineering analysis.
  • Excellent understanding of systems concepts, context, boundaries, interfaces, system hierarchy, and principles of system partitioning.
  • Broad knowledge of Systems Design methodologies.
