About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and directing teams who undertake technical design work, ensuring high-quality levels are met. You will manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes, working closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct technical design teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance standards in design.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure, as well as experience in owning design delivery in the port and maritime environment. You will also need to have a working experience with current UK and European design standards.
