About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Maritime Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cities and environments.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct teams in the development of technical design solutions for maritime infrastructure projects.
  • Define project briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes, ensuring successful delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions that meet client needs.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance standards in design, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Grow, develop, and manage civil engineering capability within the practice, driving innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer with experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure, including current UK and European design standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and projects.
