Chief Maritime Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Civil Maritime Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our maritime engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cities and environments.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
- Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Set quality assurance standards in design.
- Grow, develop, and manage civil engineering capability within the practice.
About You:
- Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer.
- Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge in the civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting port operations, the berthing and mooring of vessels, and the transit of people and goods around the globe.
- Working experience with current UK and European design standards, including BS6349.

Additional Information:
This role may require security clearance, and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
