Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, regularly tested against other consultants. This includes 25 days' leave each year plus bank holidays and options to buy or sell some of that leave. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role requires an experienced Chief Civil Maritime Engineer to play a vital part in every aspect of maritime engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. As a key member of our team, you will own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer
  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge in the civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting port operations, the berthing and mooring of vessels and the transit of people and goods around the globe
  • Working experience with current UK and European design standards including BS6349
