About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Complex Care Assistant to join our team at Sonderwell. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, including bathing, dressing, and administering medication.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, household chores, and managing finances.
  • Support individuals with complex needs to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual's needs.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with complex needs, promoting their dignity and self-esteem.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including those with physical disabilities, mental health conditions, or learning disabilities.
  • Ability to provide personal care and support, including bathing, dressing, and administering medication.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Mental Capacity Act and the Care Act.
